Bacchus was originally a German grape - a cross of riesling and sylvaner - but it has found a home from home in England, making one of this country's trademark wine styles. This is the 2023 vintage white wine from Devon's Lyme Bay Winery. If you like aromatic wines like New Zealand sauvignon blanc then you'll love this.

Super fresh and aromatic with flavours of stone fruit, limes, gooseberry, and elderflower.

APPEARANCE: Clear, pale lemon / light straw in colour.
NOSE: A fresh nose of elderflower with an abundance of pear and grapefruit notes.
PALATE: Lychee and apple with a hint of pear, grapefruit and elderflower, and a backdrop of English hedgerow character. Crisp but balanced acidity makes this a perfect match for salads and seafood.
STYLE: Aromatic dry white
