Producer Alan has sought out recipes from family and friends and turned the garden's harvest into wonderful award-winning chutneys and preserves. Almost all of the ingredients in these tasty pots of joy are grown at his home or in the village.
This vibrant, rich Beetroot chutney which finishes with a subtle hint of fennel pairs well with any hard or soft cheese, cold meats or even as a delicious condiment for burgers.
Ingredients: Beetroot, bramley apple, sugar, onions, raw cider vinegar, lemon juice, lemon zest, capers, fennel seed, dried chilli flakes.
